Having Spent most of her life in the UAE, Maya went back to Lebanon for University, where she graduated from the Lebanese American University with a degree in Communication Arts, emphasis on Radio, TV, and film, she also took many courses in Drama and Journalism(her real passion). Maya started working in 1996 and has done almost everything you can do in television, including video editing, directing, writing, reporting, acting, and now presenting, producing, and training for MBC group, the number one media organization in the Arab world. Eventually she hopes to have her own production company and teach media courses. Currently she juggles her demanding job with 2 year old daughter, but is always interested in new ideas, especially those that help other women, and is always willing to add that to her to do list.
