Andrea Albalawi is the Program Development Manager at the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children. She oversees the development of agency policies, procedures, strategic planning, and research. She is a Licensed Social Worker and holds a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas and a BA in Anthropology. She has extensive experience in administration, planning, project management, research, and coordination. She has supervised large multi-city projects both in the UAE and the USA and has managed qualitative and quantitative research projects. Ms. Albalawi has also conducted analyses on international social policy, social welfare reform, and strategic planning for nonprofits as well as supervised an emergency homeless shelter. She is dedicated to working with multicultural and vulnerable populations including women, children, and special needs
