Quad biking

You can ride quad bikes in the desert which my daughters love. My oldest daughter  rides a medium bike by herself and my younger daughter  will ride on the small ones by herself or share a bigger one with me

From Interchange 1 on Shk. Zayed Road go towards Hatta, past Emirates Road, through the big roundabout and  past the soccer ground on the right, keep driving until you see the big dune on your left about 50 kms ( I'm guessing here) from Dubai. Opposite the dune on the right hand side of the road you can ride the Quad bikes in the desert. (You'll see the flags) 

Prices vary according to size of bike  and helmets are now compulsory.

It is best in the cooler months and I recommend you get their around 10:00 am when it opens to avoid the crowds which are not huge but more particularly to avoid the more "wild teenage male riders" if you get my drift.
