Many retailers in Dubai. 

To gain an insight into prices I suggest that you start at Carefour or Geant Hypermarkets at one of the cities large malls. Once you have the prices there you can compare with other stores.

Main electrical retailers include

Cosmos( Sharp) at the Hyatt Galleria and in Bur Dubai

Jackie's Electrical Store (All Brands) www.jackys.com near the Cargo village entrance at the airport

Jumbo Electronics (Sony and Supra) http://www.jumbocorp.com/ opposite Ramada in Bur Dubai, Deira( near Chillies),  Karama , Jumeira/Umm Sequim in Beach Road, Sheik Zayed road and now Mall of the Emirates

Oman Electronics (Panasonic) Near Fish Roundabout in Deira 

Plug Ins (mainly Panasonic) Burjaman and Deira City Centres

White goods

Carefour Hypermarket at Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates,

Geant Hypermarket at Ibin Buttuta Mall

Aftron at Deira City Centre

Most supermarkets, Union Coop, Lals and Choithrams and especially Spinneys supermarket have had "For Sale" advertisements posted on notice boards by customers in their entrance foyers.
