Dutch Community

There is an active Dutch Society in Dubai. The email address of the society is nederlandse_vereniging@hotmail.com . There website is at http://www.nldubai.nl/home/1 They organise parties and social gatherings throughout the year, including cabaret and theater. The Dutch Society has a separate committee that organises the Orange Ball, for the Queen's birthday in April and another committee for St Nicholas' Day, on December 5th. 

There is an excellent Dutch Language School, De Dromedaris in Dubai run by a separate committee. The school has a has 3 professional teachers from Holland who are fully qualified to teach from Reception to Senior Language  level. They also facilitate the GCSE level. The school teaches each age group twice a week at the DASS, Dubai American Scientific School (Al Quoz, behind National Cement Factory).Fees are charged. For further information contact them
