Director's Message
Under the leadership of the Chancellor, His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) strives to provide students with superior learning opportunities and for personal growth and development. The United Arab Emirates celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2011, and under Sheikh Nahayan's educational vision, the HCT is playing an important role in building the nation. Dubai Women's College (DWC) staff are committed to helping the Chancellor provide women students with the attitudes and skills that are required for success in today's competitive global marketplace. In only twenty years, the College has developed a formidable reputation amongst Dubai employers. In fact, you only have to visit one of the many private or public sector establishments to find one of the pioneering DWC graduates. I remain inspired by the vibrancy and relevancy of the HCT mission and the DWC students. The DWC faculty’s dedication and willingness to embrace change in order to achieve student success, is a model of professionalism. My career has been very interesting and fulfilling, but nothing in my past can compare with the challenge and sense of accomplishment that I share with my colleagues at DWC. I have every reason to believe that the next five years will be even more exciting than the past 20 years.
