The College


Dubai Women's College is one of the largest colleges within the HCT system with over 2200 students enrolled in 2010/11. The college has the reputation for dynamism and for strong relations with the local community.

Its campus is situated on the edge of Dubai City Border with Sharjah in Al Quasis near Dubai International Airport.

The college concentrates its academic efforts in Business Studies, Information Technology, Health Science and Applied Media Technology. The college offers Diplomas, Higher Diplomas, Degrees  an MBA in conjunction with Strathclyde University. The college also offers an engineering program for women in the HCT - in Software Engineering Technology.

In its relatively short existence, the College has developed a formidable reputation amongst Dubai employers. In fact, you only have to visit one of the many private or public sector establishments to find one of the pioneering Dubai Women's College graduates.

The Higher Colleges of Technology are dedicated to the delivery of technical and professional programs of the highest quality to the citizens of the United Arab Emirates.

Semester Dates



Approximate HCT Semesters:  

Second week of August (classes start early Sept) to Middle of January,  Start of February to End of June. The HCT Teaching load is about 20, 55 minute units a week.
