Parental Comments/Opinions

I am Egyptian. Here are my comments for International School of Chouiefat, Sharjah. Please note that my oldest daughter ( 13 years old) helped me on this !!!

" I have two daughters who joined school this year in Grade 2 and 7. It's a nice school, mixed in all grades except during activity class, not very easy and needs a lot of work. they do have activities such as swimming pool, gym. and sports courts. There are school teams for most of the activities were students can participate. You will find different nationalities from Egypt, Lebanon, UK, India, etc...For grade 7, there is a short test on a daily basis except Saturday. It helps improving student's social life through encouraging the higher grades helping lower classes during break time and gaining more points to be added to their marks. As for the timing: from KG to Grade 4, 8.00am to3.10pm. For Grade 5 upwards from 8.00am to 4.00pm including two breaks are for all grades, 30 min and 90 min (lunch break). The uniform is available only at the school. Approx. cost is 250 to 300 per child. For the administration side, there is a supervisor for each grade who could be contacted for any problem. For parents, it's not allowed to meet class teachers. The school has another branch in Um Sequim. Also, in Egypt and Lebanon and because of this it's easy to transfer from one branch to another one. IGCSE could be obtained through the high school (grades 10,11&12)."
