Child Health Services

 

The following are the Child Health Services Regulations:

1.All children attending the Child Health services should have a valid Health Card.

 2. The table below of vaccinations (remember all vaccinations are also covered by ADNIC) given in Child Health Services under PHC and belongs to EPI program will be given free of charge.

BIRTH                    BCG + HBV (IST DOSE)

6 WEEKS                DPT & OPV (IST DOSE) + HBV (2ND DOSE)

12 WEEKS               DPT & OPV (2ND DOSE)

18 WEEKS               MANTOUX TEST, IF NEGATIVE GIVE BCG + DPT & OPV (3RD DOSE)

6 MONTHS               HBV (3RD)

9 MONTHS               MEASLES

15 MONTHS              MMR

18 MONTHS              DPT & OPV (IST BOOSTER)

4-6 YEARS (AT SCHOOL ENTRANCE)

                              MANTOUX TEST, IF NEGATIVE GIVE BCG + DPT & OPV ( 2ND BOOSTER) MMR, HBV (IF NOT GIVEN EARLIER)

 3. No fees for UAE nationals and Dubai Emirates residents' children, whose visit is only for the purpose of the vaccinations listed above, even though they may not have been issued with a Health Card.

 4. Child health visits should be separated from normal compulsory vaccination visits. Children who are asked to see a doctor because of sickness (to be medically checked if fit to have the vaccine or not), i.e. a preparatory visit before the vaccination. These visits are free of charge.
