The Career Expo is an annual event held held in conjunction by the HCT, UAEU, the Emirates National Development Program ( ENDP), Dubai World Trade Centre and Tanmia, (the UAE National Employment body) where the Industry and Education sectors work together  and confirm their partnership in helping develop both the students and industries of the UAE.

Some of the events surrounding the Career Expo would be:

• Panel discussions, conducted by some of the leading figures in the UAE, covering various current topics relating to both industry and education
• Booth displays supported by both Industry and Education
• Workshops on various topics which assist students in learning more about industry needs and how business is conducted in the UAE
• Presentations to specific student groups about career opportunities in the UAE
• Involvement by the HCT Alumnae - workshops and special meeting sessions

The Career Expo is organised through a joint effort of the partners, students, faculty and industry. 

It attracts 15000+ Emirati students who are interested in career guidance and opportunities and it usually runs for three days.

Attended by thousands of Emarati students and also visited by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, this event continues to grow in size and stature.

The next scheduled Career Expo will be around March/ April 2010.
