Career Counselling

The GOAL is simple - Employment for All of Dubai Women's College Graduates.

To achieve this we counsel, promote, market, present, teach and facilitate.  Throughout the year we provide services to two target groups; Students and Graduates.

Career services are fundamental components in the preparation of potential future professionals. At Dubai Women’s College, the Career Center offers enrolled students and graduates access to career counseling, assessment, employment preparation strategies and other career development service.

The career center is located on the ground floor of the administration wing. There is a small library that shelves information on national, regional and international universities. Additionally, the center has resume writing guidelines, TOFEL exam preparations; a diverse collection of material covering interview techniques, job search strategies, portfolio development themes and cover letter writing methodology. Students are encouraged to utilize these career services when choosing their specification program, searching for employment, preparing for work placement, researching background information on companies or seeking general career guidance.

The career counselor’s duty is to contribute to students’ professional development and success. The counselor facilitates workshops on topics such as time management, conflict resolution and study skills. The career counselor organizes and hosts “spotlight day” events where representatives of reputable establishments visit the campus and provide students with valuable information pertaining to employment and career opportunities.
