The CIS Department has internationally experienced faculty. They possess a passion for teaching, and are dedicated to supporting the academic endeavors of CIS students through the integration of current technologies into the curriculum. Software development faculty are Sun Certified for Java 2.0 Platform and Microsoft Certified for MS.NET Framework. Networking Faculty are professionally certified by CISCO (CCNA, CCNP, CCAI, and CCDP), Microsoft (MCSE and MCT) and International Computer Driving License (ICDL). This ensures that students obtain up-to-date marketable IT Networking and Software Development skills which improve their opportunities for job placement.

CIS faculty are members of many leading professional organizations such as the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), Human Computer Interactions (HCI) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). In addition, the IT Department has linguistic specialists on staff to improve students’ proficiency in English language.
