DWC is very proud to host The Entrepreneurship Center (TEC) designed exclusively to assist Emiratis in starting or growing private businesses. The Center boasts a number of services including: mentoring opportunities, business planning and licensing assistance, networking events, low cost office and meeting space, access to industry experts and consultants, business databases and research resources, training and online tutorials etc.

With a diverse membership of entrepreneurs working within a myriad of industries, TEC offers a unique and supportive operating environment for start-ups. As the only business incubator housed within an institution of higher learning, TEC is well positioned to employ all the resources of a reputable college in ensuring the success of its members.

In 2010, The Entrepreneurship Center prepared and coached DWC students and alumnae who won First, Second, Honorable Mention, and Best all-around undergraduate prizes at the first nationwide CERT|Wharton Entrepreneurial Planning & Innovation Competition (EPIC 2010).
