The first DWC Alumnae Association was formed in 1995 by committed graduates who wanted to strengthen and maintain the ties which bonded them during their time of study as they embarked on their professional future. In November 2009, the CAREERS Department took upon itself to revive the Association by inviting some of the old members back and spreading the word to many new graduates to join. Resulting from this new enthusiasm is the new DWC Alumnae Association with a new Executive Alumnae Board. Board members developed the framework, bylaws, mission and goals of the new DWC Alumnae Association, which will guide its future activity.

Alumnae Association Mission
To develop and sustain networking between the College, Alumnae and the UAE community to advance Emirati women as role models and position DWC as the college of choice.

Alumnae Association Goals
• Establish and maintain effective networks with all stakeholders for the mutual benefit of the   College and community
• Motivate Emirati women to become successful role models and to make a difference in their lives   and the UAE community
• Promote DWC graduates and students as employees of choice, successful entrepreneurs, and   active members in the community
